How To Build A LEVITATING SpaceX Starship Lamp! 🚀 FREE Design Files Included! 🚀
Показать описание
In this video I'm going to show you how to build your own levitating SpaceX Starship lamp! I'll take you through the build step by step and show you how to use magnetic levitation to make your rocket levitate!
🚀 I've provided you with all of the design files for free here:
Big thank you to Nick from Thingiverse who shared his SpaceX Starship model in a file type I could edit for printing in spiral vase mode. If you want a more detailed SpaceX Starship model, you can find it on Nick's page here:
You'll need a 3D printer to print these files!
► The SpaceX Starship model was 3D printed in D3D silk silver PLA:
► The base was 3D printed in Fillamentum crystal clear PLA:
► The SpaceX Landing pad was 3D printed in eSun black PLA:
To build this lamp you're going to need a few main components that enable the model to float, and to provide the programmable lighting patterns you see in the video! As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases (at no extra cost to you):
► Magnetic Levitating Module:
► NeoPixel Strip:
► Arduino:
► Buck Converter:
► CR2032 Coin cell holder:
You will also need a few other small components like a resistor and capacitor to get the Adafruit NeoPixel strip working. You can find those details here... and more info about the NeoPixel RGB LED strips:
► Here is where you can find the program I modified for the fire/flame effect:
► And here is a great resource to programming the NeoPixels strips with your own ideas, but made easy!
► If you've never used an Arduino before, here are the basics:
Lastly, another big thank you to 'Samuel Kim' for allowing me to use some of his awesome cinematic music in certain parts of this video. Check out his channel here:

By supporting my channel you are encouraging me to continue with this time consuming endeavor. A lot of time goes into design work, building my projects, filming the videos, editing the videos, etc. Plus it all costs money! Your generosity goes a long way in helping me bring you better content as often as I can!
