Classroom 60: Elisa Crabtree, Haviland Elementary School

Elisa Crabtree, a member of WSD's English Language Development (ELD) department, works with students at Haviland by integrating ELD strategies - like visuals and sentence frames - into foundational skills through the district's new HMH curriculum. HMH ensures all our students, especially our English learners, engage with grade-level content and develop literacy essentials such as reading, writing and speaking skills.
