A lot of us in this situation can’t afford it. I’ve got some cavities and have been told that my medication could have been the reason. I’m in my 40s and the last time I had a cavity I was in my teens. I have one that is a prime candidate for a root canal or pulling it. The pain at times is unbearable! But I’m a disabled veteran on a fixed income and I’m not covered for dental procedures at the VA! It really sucks that going to the dentist is so expensive and dental insurance is too. Good luck to anyone suffering from any dental issues.

Why do I trust you rather then the dozens of dentists I have had over the past 60 years? I don't know, but I am glad I do!

I've unfortunately needed root canals. It's apparently a common myth that a cavity usually hurts due to some cavities being "too" small to notice it. Yes, perhaps getting a check up every sixth months can help to lower one's dental bill and help overall health. I'd had a tooth of which the nerve just died without there being pain (and thus unfortunately needing a root canal). It was found on dental x-ray during a check up. Thank you so much for your informative videos!

I ate a piece of popcorn and the little hard brown shell thing got wedged between 2 of my teeth on the top near the canine tooth. I had cheap shreddy floss that ended up tearing up and getting stuck as well. I went to the store to buy the glide floss and even that didn't get them out of my teeth. So I gave up and went a few years like that because I didn't have a dentist to go to at the time. Finally this little hospital type place in my town opened up a dentistry so I started going there, the dentist guy was SUPER nice, friendly, and informative. He looked at my teeth and said "you might need a root canal but we're gonna try to avoid that" so he gave me a regular normal filling and I haven't felt any pain or sensitivity since then. That was a couple years ago. You should've seen how it looked before he fixed it. It looked like a huge gap between my teeth. Now it looks and feels normal!

I've been going to a dentist that would notice a small cavity on my tooth and say that i should leave it for now and continue using prescription toothpaste and it just gets worse. I'm leaving a dentist like that, it just costs me more in the long run and I don't trust their advice. It just feels like they are too conservative.

I had a wisdom tooth pushing in and it caused an abscess a couple teeth down. Why would that happen to the other tooth???? There was nothing wrong with it.

Could you do a video about how to properly sanitize mouth guards & retainers after a cold, flu, etc.? Thank you.

All of my teeth had fillings in them, and then all of them needed root canals and needed to be pulled out, because the root canals did not work. What happened here I had fillings in all of my teeth.

Is that filling for life time?? and if not what it is to be done with the tooth after that filling has completed its stay.

I went to the dentist _and_ the endodontist last week. The endodontist said that I don't need a root canal, but my dentist has it on a watch.

And that tooth doesn't already have a filling in it. I've got *_years_* of teeth grinding and clenching, plus sleep apnea. I'm still kinda nervous about it and I don't know why.
