At our school we have been measuring temperatures with an automated thermometer from thermosignal (google it) so we don’t have to have someone dedicated to taking temperatures, it’s saving us a lot of time.

Can you calibrate the range of sensitivity/results? When I compare the results of a scan to other thermometers, it generally is 1degree (F) lower. Obviously, I can do the simple math in my head, but it would be nice to be able to adjust.

Changing from C to F is NOT an easy thing to figure out. NOT in the book. Mine has an UP/SET/DOWN buttons. Make sure you have fresh batteries. Press/Hold the SET button and you can change using the down button. Press/hold the SET button to toggle thru 4 settings, P2, P3 appears to be for you to preset temperature thresholds to alert of a high temp. Tested this just now. P4 is for the volume. Once you toggle thru, you can now read F not C
