I was wondering with the down time menu music that there would be a new lobby track and thankfully this beauty of a theme played, I don't think any of the tracks we've had before compares to this, its perfect. I feel a movie or a tv series is in the works, this game is one of the greatest video games in human history.

i find this so interesting because, as far as i can tell, there are none of the past fortnite motifs or signature instruments/sounds featured. this really marks a new age for this game. i’ve always adored this game’s soundtrack, and this just took it a step further

For those who find that the music is ‘uplifting’, ‘majestic’ and ‘grand-sounding’ is mainly due to the scale, or mode, the piece derives its sounds from.

The mode being used is called Lydian mode.

You hear it in lots of different media - before a film starts when studio names pop up, 1980s Fantasy/Sci-Fi movie culture (ET is very much composed with this scale in mind), rock musicians from the same period of time. Even ‘The Simpsons’ theme tune is from the same pool of notes. Too many to note really.

Personally it’s just the sound of childhood and my most happiest and treasured memories.

This sounds so heroic. Definitely as good, if not better, then the OG soundtrack. I’ve found myself many times just chilling in the main menu while on my phone. Epic outdid themselves this time 🙌🏼

2:45 when the Season X leitmotif played 😢🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 massive goosebumps for this part, it doesn't make you felt down after losing to some sweaties, back to lobby hearing this majestic music really keep your heads up

This is the theme of two chapters, the end of chapter 2 and the start of chapter 3. Man it feels like yesterday chapter 3 came out, time flies.
