The New NBA Jerseys are TERRIBLE...

Every year the NBA releases new city jerseys and most years some are bad with many others being good, but this year it's a lot worse than usual. The Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, and many others have awful jerseys that look like they were designed by someone who doesn't watch the NBA. Other teams like the Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, and Milwaukee Bucks have very generic and bland jerseys. Thankfully, a few teams like the Toronto Raptors, Phoenix Suns, and Utah Jazz are saving the jerseys as a whole, but it's pretty brutal nonetheless. Let's talk about it.

Why don't we have actual team logos anymore? Why is it just a crappy version of the team name or city?

Nah bro there's no excuse for this. They have a team of graphic designers with years to make these jerseys. It's in their best interest to make the nba look profitable, fashionable, and respectable. Someone at Nike just doesn't give a shit and its that simple. Jersey sales will die and the nba will take a bigger cut from a company that actually gets jerseys sold.

the problem is that they make a new jersey or 2 every single season. They’re running out of ideas for new jerseys. Before nike had the NBA license, a teams alts would be used for multiple years, which helped them be more iconic. Think the bulls pinstripes, they were alts that were used for like 5 years

Phoenix jersey is a throwback homage to the 95 all star jerseys, those were great, even with "The Valley" on front. Raptors nod to Vince looks nice, too.

the fact that some of the best ones (jazz and raptors) are throwbacks to their old vintage look says alot lmao, i think those two are the best imo, the majority of the other ones look like just the bare minimum in terms of effort, id love it if we can just wear our old vintage throwbacks instead, black magic pinstripes, the old black & red 76ers jersey, vancouver grizzlies etc so many good ones the old heat jerseys with the fire accent over the T are elite
