This song actually rings true to a lot of situations. It’s a dangerous mix when one person who falls hard falls for someone who is always naturally casual. They take a hangout as a date, they take sex as a relationship rather than a hookup. And when it fizzles out the person who always falls hard feels hurt and blames it entirely on the other person who doesn’t fall in any situation. So whose in the wrong? The answer is no one. It’s a different experience for the two people. Unfortunately it’s the casual person that always has to be the one to defend themselves first when they technically did nothing wrong. That’s just who they are. As long as they didn’t physically or verbally or intentionally emotionally abuse you, you have no side of the story. You were just the fool that never learns.
