techincally, it doesnt mean anything.
1080p is jus the resolution/size.
60fps, it obviously how many frames per second it shoots in video. the higher the fps, the cleaner the slowmotion will look.

but yea, 60fps is just great.. if only canon will allow 120 fps in the next line of camera, or allow more variablity for fps.

@MrSalMaranzano you film the footage in either 50fps PAL or 60fps NTSC. you then play it back in your editing program at 25% speed. The result will be a smooth slow motion clip :)

@therightpremiums you need to have your camera set to ntsc. pal wont let you do that.

720 @ 60 fps is good for motion tracking. The lens is going to provide the depth of field and most people don't watch 1080p videos in 1080p...

Like if my project is in 24p...and i import some 60p...will i get this smooth lo motion when rendering?

I just bought this camera, and when attempting to video I can't find how to make the FPS 60.
I can see, 24, 25 and a few settings on 50 though..
