The International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defence chief, as well as a Hamas leader, Ibrahim Al-Masri, for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Israel-Gaza war. Netanyahu, who's government doesn't recognize the court, said he rejects the ruling 'with disgust.' But what does this arrest warrant actually mean for him?

There is an old Chinese quote, "An evil man will burn down his own nation in order to rule over the ashes" - Sun Tzu

Any German citizen can make the arrest, it doesn’t have to be an official from the government. All citizens have the right to arrest someone on behalf of the ICC from the air traffic controller stopping his plane from leaving down to the guy sweeping the street.

Huge blow for Netanyahu of global condemnation and isolation. He must be stopped.

He'd better hope his plane doesn't have to make an emergency landing in a country that recognizes said arrest warrant.

It **IS** possible to prosecute a war without committing war crimes. Bibi chose not to.

It means nothing because the court cannot arrest him. Even Putin is out enjoying life

Uhum, they can not put Netanyahu on the list. He is protecting his country against terrorists. That is not a crime

The decision of the ICC opens for trials of those who executed their orders and enabled them.
In other words, the next in line are IDF officers, but also regular soldiers, and ministers in governments sending weapons to Israel.

It means, if in future a terrorist group takes ur citizens as hostages, u r not supposed to act against them or try to free ur citizens.
U r only supposed to fulfill their demands or beg for ur citizens.... That's what ICC warrant means here .

As much as this is big news but in reality no western country would have the balls to do it. When France was asked if it will arrest Netanyahu they dodged the question and threw a legal exception.

Netanyahu is indicted in Israël for corruption, but he can only be punished as a civilian. As long as he is primier he is 'untoutchable'. 🤔

His own country should arrest him for war crimes! Like what happened to Saddam Hussain. A little different but definitely applicable.
