I'm glad you've used low voltage in the garden. It's the right way to do it.

Good Vid Charlie but gotta say that price is outrageous! 😮 It's just a few lights.

Try adding them into your Home Assistant configuration!

Nice garden set-up and review. Thanks Charlie. It would be overkill in my garden as it is smaller than the grass patch you just laid. Take care & stay safe.

Hi Charlie . I can see your objective was a complete interactive system, and I would say you have achieved your goal . As for the longevity of the individual parts, that of course is too early to tell . But admittedly the overall effect is very pleasing, and I’m sure you will gain much pleasure from your new lighting Scheme . Kind regards as always 👍

Great project!

We have recently had our new garden done and have the issue now of sorting out the lighting situation and at a loss of what to do!

very nice install, but you should discuss the pro/cons of such an install. Like how it affects nightlife for bugs, birds and other life in the garden as artificial lighting is very "polluting" for them, and our benefit should be weighted against theirs.

I've got garden lights myself, but I use them for occasions to not upset bugs whom I rely on for my fruit trees and flowers

Nice video as always Charlie. Love the detail you go to. While others here have said they think it’s expensive I haven’t seen anyone propose a system with similar spec (gateway, motion sensor, RGB, quality machined metal) that is actually cheaper.

I do wonder if there is a cheaper solution on the motion sensor though. Something Zigbee oriented.

The remote seems to be a bit limited in terms of having to be operated manually - you mentioned a Smart plug . . . our patio has lights around it set into the walls/cladding (with lights on the sides of the steps) all operated from a Hive plug/socket giving fully programmed lighting .... just have to adjust the schedule as the seasons change. The lights are all on one circuit but it wouldn't be difficult to create several circuits and use more than one Hive plug. No colour adjustment bells & whistles but the simple white lights work for us!

i used a govee setup recently with their wifi control its a great alternative to a more premium philips hue.
