The color of the Rubik's reminds me of the old Moyu stickerless shades, the ones they currently have on the unmagnetized Meilongs

I too am a Rubik's 'defender' (and collector). They are good for what they are (rugged). I also like their innovation where they make different type of cubes. Just bought the Squish cube and a gray-scaled cube.

the orange on the rubik’s looks too similar to me to the yellow, i’d swap the oranges if anything, i also like the swift block white, but just all the darker shades

Nice. I got a Swift Block as a free gift with an order a while back. Now that I know they are the same, I don't have to get one. I do like the colors on the Rubik's better though.

I grew up using the original Rubik's brand from 1980 through 2020 and they were just bad! This seems like a good development because if it's widely available then it will get more people into cubing and not start them out with a bad experience.
