Gandhi did those "experiments" to check if he could get aroused despite his lifestyle. Apparently the young girls (victims) were considered old enough to be married, and they said it was like cuddling their grandma because he was pretty weak.
That being said, nah, don't touch kids.

He also had a weird obsession with keeping your mind and body clean. If you went to the ashram where he lived, there was a good chance he'd pressure you into getting an enema. It wasn't the most hygienic place, because the same equipment was used on hundreds of others. Sometimes he'd refuse to meet you unless you'd had an enema or two.
This was done because of a belief that a clean body gives you a clean mind. I'm sorry, but the ashram only served vegetarian food. Most people didn't really need it.
