for the question :5 subnets with at least 16 hosts...the answer should be B...because option B no of bits for subnet id=3 i.e 8 but Option A no of bits for subnet id=2...which 4 and less than the required number of subnets

In question no 3 it is given max 160 hosts it can support which means host id will only need max 8 bits for it. Then why sir has taken 17 bits for the answer.

Sir I think for the first question number of subnets will be 8 only means we cannot give entire subnet for broadcast or network id as you specified. sorry if I am wrong

In question 3, it's written that each network supports maximum of 160 hosts, so shouldn't the number of bits less than 8 be valid? Please correct me if I understood something wrong

subnet id 3 so number of subnet=2^3 not host 2^3-2 and why hell you subtract 2 hostbit find karo aur usme se 2 subtract hota hai

You are creating so much confusion. In one of the question related to subnet address, you said a different thing and in this its different. Maintain consistency atleast

for n bits in Subnet Id part, we have 2^n - 2 hosts.
that is used earlier.
New invention is using all 2^n hosts.
please confirm this point.
