WHEN I SPOKE AT THE NEW JERSEY WOMEN’S EXPO, THERE WERE OVER 20,000 PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE.
I watched as the crowd around the stage grew while I spoke candidly about being molested, raped and abused by my biological father, Aswad Ayinde.
This was very difficult for me because seeing the people gather was a huge distraction. But I did my best.
In this first part I talk about our ability to survive and conquer by being a support to each other using the lessons we learned through our individual experiences.
Women need to understand that we are each other’s support system. As mothers we are the village to raise our children, as sisters we are each others rock to lean on and as humans we have a responsibility to the most vulnerable of our society.

I have been binging on you today 😆 I love what you said about the importance of sharing your personal journey in whatever you’ve experienced. I tell people that very same thing. I am a breast cancer survivor and I never held back on opening up on the trials and tribulations I was going through during that journey because I believe it can bless somebody else in some way. Thankfully I’ve never had to experience any kind of sexual abuse nor anybody that I’m close to… That I know of. But I love seeing people that become victorious over bad things. I know she said she was home schooled and isolated but when her child died it would had seem what happened to her would had came pur. She is a strong person to survive for all what she went through. Glad she is bringing awareness to this. Home schooled children need to be checked on.
