I don’t mind any sort of minor input lag I get for it, I do it because I personally find that stretched res feels better to play on for me. Even if it’s not true stretched res which changes the visible width of the enemy.

USE CRU TO FIX THE DELAY

if you use the cru software to change your native resolution to the stretched one it removes the delay

True stretched res isin't a "illusion" yes the players models are bigger, it makes visibility better and for other players might just help with aiming more accurately then native.

Clearly, we are going to talk about it.

True stretches res increases input delay, makes enemies move faster, decreases FOV and messes with your sens.

Bro idc if it gives me input lag it puts me in the zone.

Not really. Input lag on windowed mode is negligible now with Windowed optimization scheduling and utilizing windows 11 features that allow windowed mode to work like full screen. Direct x 12 games are already optimized for windowed mode because full screen is kinda out of date way of doing things. The windowed optimization mode allows games in direct x 10 and 11 to work like direct x 12, not perfect, but you'll never notice the difference between full screen and windowed except that you can alt tab without waiting a second 😎 try it
You should definitely check the input latency, for me, the difference was off by .02- .08 latency where opposed to the 5%-20% on windows 10

As a tech geek let me give you a rundown on why this is wrong. Almost all players are on Windows 11, with its refined multitasking capabilities, affords a higher degree of resource management and scheduling, thus minimizing potential bottlenecks that could lead to input lag. Additionally, advancements in graphics drivers, GPU architectures, and software optimizations have further contributed to reducing the latency associated with windowed mode in Valorant.

The discernible differences between full-screen and windowed mode have indeed become almost negligible for most gamers. The advancements in hardware, coupled with software optimizations, work cohesively to deliver near-seamless responsiveness and smooth performance, irrespective of the chosen display mode.

Granted, it is essential to acknowledge that, in certain edge cases, extremely resource-intensive applications or particular hardware configurations may still manifest subtle performance variations between the two modes. However, such scenarios are becoming increasingly rare, and the vast majority of Valorant players can revel in the joy of multitasking and fluid gameplay without any noticeable hindrance in windowed mode.

It is pertinent to underline that the efficacy of windowed mode in Valorant is contingent upon individual hardware setups, in-game settings, and driver configurations. However, the overarching takeaway is that the developments ushered in by Windows 11 and optimizations within Valorant itself have substantially neutralized any historically perceived disparities between windowed and full-screen modes.

In conclusion, my fellow enthusiasts, you can confidently embrace windowed mode while playing Valorant on Windows 11, reassured by the knowledge that the potential impact on input lag and performance has been meticulously mitigated through advanced technology and diligent software development. So, game on with poise, knowing that the experience of windowed mode in Valorant is harmoniously aligned with that of its full-screen counterpart, allowing you to relish the game's competitive excellence without compromise.

Disable your monitor, create custom resolution in nvidia control panel 1560 x 1075, fullscreen, click on fill, enjoy.
