Hey, great vid. I’ve started collecting some nice bits of gear to start making music. I too have a MacBook Pro early 2011 and don’t have the fund to upgrade yet. I’ve been looking at a Focusrite Clarett thunderbolt interface. A question I have is how best to connect the external hard drive to the laptop if I’m using the interface on the thunderbolt port. Would I just use the usb port or can I chain the thunderbolt like FireWire used to do? I’m guessing not. Wondering if there will be any latency issues with the external on a usb basically, as I can see you have the drive on your thunderbolt port. Sorry if my questions are basic/dated… Thanks

I have the audiobox96 presonus audio interface. It has a mic and instrument input. I also have both my krk connected, and its 100 brand new. And it comes with Studio One DAW. I recommend that interface for those who are starting
