You are not supposed to have your shades closed during takeoff and landing so in an evacuation your eyes don’t have to adjust to the sun/dark. It’s the same reason why they dim the light lights
But still a cool shot!
Also I would use some 3rd party camera app so you could turn of optical image stabilisation, doing so the wing is “fixed” to the video for a better shot

In Australia, it's against the aviation act to have the shade closed take off and landing. Also if the plane crashes rescuers cannot see you through the window.

First you have night when you put phone under curtains. Second every airlines have rules that you must have open curtains if you start 😂😂😂

First rule of take off is, blinds up, so you can see the wings burning🤦🏻‍♂️

The window blind has to be up on take off and landing. It’s for safety reasons in case of an engine fire etc. Hey though, at least you caught it on your camera while ignoring aviation regulations
