That's the America I wanted to emigrate to. It took another ten years, but I got there. But now it's gone. A better place, in so many ways, despite everything that was wrong then.

Wow, the song...the car...Brad Pitt playing the character of Cliff Booth...cruising on a sunny California day - you know how good you look and how cool you are and how great you feel - this scene is so well done it gives you all the feels - Margaret's joy when he finally pulls over is so well acted. Brilliant !

In his love letter to film, memory, horror, and friendship, Tarantino created a masterpiece that stands alone as the 21st century’s greatest cinematic achievement.

I love Brad Pitt so much in this movie, such a charismatic and masculine man

The final stage of coolness and that is what every man dreams of. Yeah, I'm OLDSCHOOL and don't give a shit what the world thinks of it. Brad is the archetype of a man and I love the song.

1968 was the year of Jose Feliciano, this single with Light My Fire on B-side and the LP "Feliciano!" were at the top of the charts of almost half the world, won 4 grammy nominations and was considered the most incredible novelty in pop music and among the great guitarists and was a great inspirer of many musicians. After an impressive mismanagement of his career made him disappear quickly and we lost one of the most incredible stars in music.

All the leaves are brown
And the sky is gray
I went for a walk
On a winter's day
I'd be safe and warm
If I was in L.A.
Oh, California Dreamin'
On such a winter's day, hey
I went into a church
I stopped along the way
Well, I got down on my, on my, on my bended knees
And I began to pray
You know the preacher did succumb
He knows I'm going to stay
Yes he knows cause I told him so
Oh, California dreamin'
On such a winter's day, yeah
Well baby, all the leaves, the leaves, the leaves are brown
And the sky is gray
Oh, I went for a walk
On a winter's day
I, I, I'd be safe and warm
If I was, mira, if I was in L.A.
Mmm, yeah, California dreamin'
On such a winter's day, yeah
On such a winter's day, yeah
On such a winter's day, eh-hey
Dream on, California dreamin', dream on
Oye mira yo quiero gozar en California
Porque yo me siento tambien
Y por eso yo te quiero porque tu me tratas tambien en California
Mira, no sienta mal a nena no me tratas asi
Y yo me quiero morir muchachita
Por favor, por favor, nada mas
Oye no me digas que no porque yo
Oye mulatta mira, baby, eh California dreamin'
It doesn't matter how you say it
All I want to say is I love, I love
California, baby yeah
I really love, I really love, I really need a little bit of lovin yeah
California dreamin' oh yeah, Calfornia dreamin'
California dreamin'...

Great version and fits the demise of the 60's. Twist in your grave Charlie.

I had a '67 rag top Caddy white on white with teal blue dash and rug. Magnificent car. It literally floated down the road. I've ridden in nothing like it since. And all the broads always wanted to go along for a ride. Brad's yellow Caddy very familiar.
