Sev Puri, Bombay Bhel & Dabeli: Indian Street Food in London by Sim Sim's Kitchen at Vegan Life Live

✓ We recently attended the Vegan Life Live festival at Alexandra Palace and we enjoyed walked around and eating all the delicious vegetarian treats on offer and we were pleasantly surprised to see a "Desi" Street food stall serving up snacks inspired from India.

Our one regret is that once we had reached Sim Sim's Kitchen; we were so full that we really didn't have space in our tummy to try anything from them.......but that's more the reason for us to look out for them again and hopefully next time we will have a chance to try all the delicious "Desi" goodies that they serve up.

Us not getting anything did not stop us recording them in action, in fact we felt duty bound to do so.

Anyway just in case you missed it, they were serving up the following Street Food favourites:

Sev Puri consisting of:
* Crispy fried small round Puri.
* Diced Potatoes (seasoned with Salt, Red Chilli Powder and Chaat Masala) .
* Chopped Red Onions.
* Coriander & Chilli Green Chutney.
* Tamarind Sauce
* Date Sauce.
* Topped with Sev (Crunchy Gram Flour Noodles).
* Chopped Green Coriander.
* Chopped Tomatoes

Kutchi Dabeli ("Vegan Burger"):
* Burger Buns.
* Tamarind & Date Sauce.
* Spiced Mash Potato filling.
* Chopped Onion.
* Spicy Peanuts.

Bombay Bhel Recipe Ingredients:
* Puffed Rice.
* Chopped Onions.
* Coriander & Chilli Green Chutney.
* Tamarind Sauce
* Date Sauce.
* Sev (Crunchy Gram Flour Noodles).
* Peanuts.

Chana Curry with Rice was also being served up on the day.

Note that Sev Puri can be made with a variety of ingredients, toppings and garnishing. Some popular variations are dahi sev bateta puri (sev puri with yogurt and potato),
