Alabama Jubilee

Losing Roy Clark this week has made an earworm of this old classic for me fir days now. Many guitar greats have done their own take on it - Roy, Jerry reed, Chet Atkins, you name it. Had to play it out in tribute to Roy and as thanks for all the inspiration he provided to me as a budding player. I start out with the thumbpick and then switch to a flatpick midway through. Decided to leave it as-is, mistakes and all, in order to preserve the spirit of it. Hope y'all enjoy! There will never be another Roy Clark.

This appeared in my feed today, hadn't heard it since last year. I, for the life of me, can't use a thumbpick worth a damn and you make it look so easy! If I played the guitar as well as you do sir I don't think the guitar would ever leave my hands. Keep up the snazzy pickin' and thanks for giving this old man some inspiration.
