U.K. Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Dominic Raab shared on Monday what he and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed during their meeting, including a “shared commitment” to stand up for democracy and human rights, tackling misinformation and holding human rights abuses “to account.”

Raab added he and his counterpart also talked about China, the need for holding the country accountable to its commitments and finding ways to work with the nation.

Blinken echoed Raab's remarks, adding the U.S. and U.K.'s relationship is one that is longstanding.

Foreign ministers of the so-called Group of Seven gathered in London on Monday for their first in-person meeting since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

It is widely recognized that UK should give more attention domestic issues, not foreign affairs. It is the top priority to improve the UK people's life, not other country citizens. Obviously UK has limited resources.
