Red Velvet Feel my Rhythm Reaction : BACH MEETS KPOP? - First time reaction

This video is my reaction to the latest red velvet comeback, which used Bach's Air on G string as inspiration. As an ex pianist, what is my reaction?

I feel like Red Velvet really did something innovative here. Their vocals, the song itself, the instrumentals (including Bach), the mixing, the costumes, the sets, the choreo, visual effects- it’s like they were all used as tools to make one massive piece of performance art called the “Feel My Rhythm” MV.

Red Velvet is very famous for the best reasons but all I can tell, honestly, it's their music is b-sides masters, queens of concepts (never expected something cause you probably be wrong, they never repeat), I love how every voice it's different but they know how to mix them on the chorus, I can't say they're perfect (cause objectively nobody is) but they really know how to do their stuff.

Notes aside, they have their subunit and solos, totally worthy. I never got tired to telling the people "please, listen to the whole album".

I don't have any musical training nor someone who work in the music industry or anything but i've been a music listener my whole life and honestly, i think SM really peaked their experimental music with this one. Such a masterful blend between the classical piece and modern sound and giving this to red velvet is a very obvious choice since they're the ones famous for their experimental and weird song in the company (and in kpop industry as a whole) and these girls delivered!! Tbh, the first time watching the mv i was overwhelmed, so much going on visually and sonically but i know i didn't hate the song. The 2nd time watching, i already fell in love with the song. Now this song is on repeat and the more i listen to it, the more i'm obsessed with it. It also helps that the mv is really well done and complemented the song so well that i keep wanting to rewatch the mv. They referenced a lot of famous paintings in the mv too so it's not just some random pretty aesthetic. You should watch more RV stuff! You won't be disappointed.

It is an amazing MV. This is now my favourite RV song!! And that was not as easy accomplishment let me tell you. It is impossible to go wrong with Red Velvet. Psycho was my previous favourite. You should give that a listen to.

Their range is insane but the thing is they don't do anything more than once because their brand is about exploring all of music and doing every genre + mixing it to be their own flavour... with regards to FMR though it is that exact kind of boldness that keeps them best group alive

You should check out Psycho by Red Velvet next. They’re really one of the best KPop groups, and have constantly had interesting and high quality concepts.

OH MY GOODNESS YES YES!!! I am freaking out and shaking while commenting this, they went OFF during this Music Video it has to be one of my favorites already because WOW and the Visuals HOLY COW they have to be one of my favorites as well because everyone looks so Gorgeous legit this is everyone's era! Irene (the one in the black dress on the ship) oh my Goodness looks so Stunning she is a freaking Goddess I kept pausing on her moments on screen because she was so Gorgeous and her Vocals/Rap is insane. Seulgi (the dark goddess sitting on the throne) can STEP ON ME what the heck she looked like an evil goddess and I am here for it, her Vocals were crazy, and the way she ate that strawberry was not okay. Wendy (the one that was "swimming" and also was next to the tree) is Bias wrecking me and I don't even have a Bias her Visuals and charisma is CRAZY, and her Vocals went OFF like during the bridge that was one of most beautiful notes I've heard. Joy (the one with her hair up) is a legit Disney Princess (and I am right in the MV she is pricking her finger like Aurora) I keep saying it but it is so true the smile that she kept giving was adorable, and her Vocals oh my Goodness and her little English moments/Red Velvet moment Wow. And Yeri (the one in the egg with the amazing hair piece she also rapped) has been killing me as well her Rap has gotten even more INSANE her Vocals are so Gorgeous and sweet like cotton candy, and her Visuals are just STUNNING holy cow!! Again they went off on this one and the chorus is so beautiful and catchy, just everything was AMAZING! Anyways I can't wait for you to react to more Red Velvet such as more Music Videos, B - Sides, Live Performances, Covers, Dance Practices, Moments, and of course Ships! I can't wait for more Content from you and I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and healthy!
