That is so slow... Where in the world is the bass clarinet at 3:45 and where in the world is the contrabassoon. Why is no one enjoying the music?

This orchestra has a contrabassoon in it. I don’t understand one bit why they didn’t use him for this? Shame

This performance is terribly slow. Like it HAD to be slowed down due to shortened rehearsal times or something. Also, no contrabassoon. That solo is one of the most famous in the contrabassoon's repertoire. Obviously, there is no player who knows how to play contra, but why do the music anyways ?
