As a mother of 4, I definitely think that's him purposefully mimicking you say mama! You can tell from the frustration in him when he pushed out the word. Imagine how difficult it is for them to get the control to make their body to do what they are wanting it to when all is so new. It's so precious! Love it

That was a word. As single parent I tried to teach my kid "Dada" from the beginning. He started calling me "mamam" even as a male that was the greatest compliment my son could've made. He just called me that because he could not say Dada as long as he needed, we have the strongest bond.
