Don't know if it's still on, but I visited Canada somewhere around 2006, and they aired a show most people have heard of called Entertainment Tonight (ET for short). Immediately after, they aired a show called ET Canada. It basically showed what all the Canadian celebrities were doing in the US

Here’s something that is slightly related to this. There’s a specific entertainment industry based in Québec that is truly important in artistic development and making sure French Canadian culture continues to exist. When people mention that people in Québec are scared for nothing and that there’s no reason to panic about that erasure, this is video is a great example. Canadians actually watching English Canadian content is getting rare as well. We’re geographically on top of the biggest producer in the world’s entertainment, and they do content in English, why on earth would typical Canadians watch or consume entertainment from their own country? (That’s an open question). Culture protection for First Nations, Francophones and even Anglo Canadians is incredibly important.

I still remember that both Ryans Reynolds and Gosling, Bieber, Celine, and Shania are all Canadian. The ones I forgot about were Jim Carrey, Seth Rogan, Michaels: J Fox, Cera, Meyers, and Buble, Matthew Perry, Avril Lavigne, Dan Aykroyd, William Shatner, Will Arnett, Phil Hartman, and Keanu.
