Did you know that in Shrek 2… Donkey says "Uno, Dos, Quatro. Hit it!". If you listened thoroughly, you can hear that Donkey skipped past Tres. This technically foreshadows that Shrek the Third is not canon.

Shrek 3 wasn’t great but I also don’t remember the fourth one being any better. The only really good ones were the first two. Hopefully Shrek 5 will remedy that and give us the requel treatment.

Bro, you spelled "One" (Uno) and "Two" (Dos) in spanish but spelled "Four" in portuguese, it's not hard to differentiate.

If Shrek The Third is not canon then how the hell did Shrek get kids, why are they still living in the swamp, what happened to King Harold, for all we know, Donkey doesn't know how to count in Spanish. Alright if shrek the third is not canon 1-then what happened to prince charming after shrek 2 and before shrek forever after 2- maybe donkey isn't saying 3 is just a coincidence or a mistake which dreamworks did???

I don’t think that it’s not that the third movie isn’t cannon it’s obviously cannon to the shrek franchise. the last 2 movies weren’t out yet when donkey was In movie 2 of Shrek. I think he mainly more says 1, 2, 4 in Spanish to make fans laugh because donkey is always hilarious in the shrek movies I think we are suppose to assume that donkey is just bad at counting hence why he says 1, 2, 4
