Randy and Ryan show you how to remove a dent on a late model car without affecting the shiny paint using the Eastwood Paintless Dent Removal Kit. Very impressive demonstration.

The Eastwood Paintless Dent Removal Kit includes all professional-use components which allows shallow dents and dings to be removed quickly and easily without expensive paintwork. Perfect for pulling hail damage and most common parking lot and shopping cart mishaps.

DENT REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Select the Plastic Pull Button that best matches the size and shape of the dent to be pulled. Generally, the very center of a dent is the best placement however larger dents may benefit from multiple pulls from different locations.

Using a non-permanent type marker or masking tape, trace a circle around the outside of the planned location of the Pull Button

Eastwood has everything you need to do the job right when you're restoring a car, truck or motorcycle - from welders to paint and everything in between.

Nice demonstration guys. I am a Paintless Dent repair technician and would like to give a small tech tip. 91% rubbing alcohol from any pharmacy will work just as good as denatured alcohol and it’s much less expensive and easier to get.

It works very well. I got two small rock dents on my 21 widebody challenger an I was pissed. I used this contraption an I don't even remember where they were. I highly recommend this product.

I like your videos as you are good in demonstrating the general use of a product. A couple things I would add to aid in the successful removal of a dent...use alcohol to clean the tab prior to adding glue. You started with what appeared to be a clean car but still wipe the area with alcohol to remove wax, dust dirt to ensure a good grip. Only use this on OEM, or factory painted cars. If the car has been repainted there is a very good chance the paint will pop off with the dent...its not pretty. I would not have placed the puller in the position where you did. You placed it so that one of the feet rested on the fender flare or crease. There is a downward force exerted onto the feet to provide the upward pull on the dent, by placing the foot on the flare there's a good chance you'll be adding a difficult to remove dent over the flare. The reason you didn't get one, if you didn't, luck and it was a fresh dent and recent dents are easier to remove without having to exert as much force. Lastly, the metal is stronger near the edge. A good rule of thumb, be wary of promising removal of dents that are within 2" of the edge of a panel. The sheet metal of the car is double thick as the two skins come together and are welded there. If you're new, forget it and move on to the next dent, you will only waste time and not be happy with the result. I'm surprised that the kit does not include a tap down and mallet, both are pretty essential if you're looking to produce a professional result. Like anything, it takes practice to get good at it and you will make mistakes but that's how you learn. I've been inventing new and creative ways in which to make mistakes for 20 years now. To ensure I won't forget the mistake I usually find it necessary to repeat the same mistake at least twice so it sinks in real good. lol

Got my dent removal tool to "fix" the dents in my step daughter's 2010 Honda Fit. That darn car has been a magnet for destruction lately. So, read the instructions and attempted the first stick and pull. Now I'm watching the video to see what I did wrong. Prob didn't leave the glue to dry for long enough. Cheers!

Thanks. Show a demonstration on removing a door ding on the crease of the body lines of a car. Should you orient the puller vertical or horizontal? Work the bottom part of the dent on the crease and then the top portion of the dent on the crease? No flat surface over the entirety of the dent.

I use glue pulling dent repair tools every day in my business. They are great to take out small dings and hail dents. I even use it to start pulling out large dents that then need to be finished with regular PDR tools.

I've noticed one thing possibly missing (although an hour ago I didn't even know how painless dent repair was done until I started finding these videos here on YT this evening) – aren't there situations where you need to tap down the "brows" of the dent (the rim of the crater, if you will) in case, when pulling, certain areas actually RAISE? On that note, it appears there are times when you actually tap the outer portions of a dent down (using special tools etc. of course) to actually help the dent pull out easier and more completely.

If I say so myself, not bad for someone who didn't even know how PDR worked an hour ago :-)

Does it work on big dents and small dents?

What type of glue is being used in the glue gun. Whenever ever I use my glue it pops off after a few pulls and squeezes even after I let the glue cool for a few minutes.

I watched an instructional video on glue pulling and they said not to push the instrument in so the glue is still thick and dont let it set fully otherwise it might pull off the the paint. Make sure it's perpendicular to the surface as well. You didn't mention any of that and they explained a lot more too as the video was arpund 50 minutes, so is it really as simple as what this video shows?

Hit a small steel pole turning into a gas pump while trying to avoid a huge truck and feel like a dumbass😓 but the damages weren't too bad and the fix is affordable

wont work on repainted panels as it will lift the top layer of paint, but very good to use and does a great job.
