What’s happening in this movie clip?

What’s the movie about?
In 2016, four students from Brantford High School find a magical video game called Jumanji. Upon starting the game, they are physically sucked into it, landing in a jungle in the bodies of the avatars they chose: Dr. Smolder Bravestone (Dwayne Johnson), Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan), Franklin Finbar (Kevin Hart) and Professor Oberon (Jack Black).

I love how awkward Dwayne and Karen acted in this scene since they are playing awkward teens. They really captured that awkward first kiss with our crush as teenagers that we all went through! I love that they really put their all into this!

How could we be so stubbornly blind? Willingly ignorant or still in beta test mode? Eventhough he's the shy type he was accepting of her, even if caught off guard, and prepared to be honest. She wasn't too over bearing either. And the part where he shows insecurity, "it's not bc of All This" lol and her response, classic. They both are left feeling secured and nothing less. That's beautiful. This scene could have been written so many ways... ex. He could have ran away soon after seeing her which would have left her feeling played and disrespected. . There could have been an exchange of negative vibes caused by dishonesty, which would have ruined their success as a team overall, delaying progress yet creating an opportunity for a hit or miss sequel lol. Hats off to the writers for taking the shot!

When I was younger, I had preconceptions about age differences, so for them I found it practically weird. But hey, Dwayne has already played Alexandra Daddario's father even though she is only 14 years younger than him, the advantage that some people have in almost never aging physically
