I could see how the secret room would be advantageous to our family if we knew about It before we moved in, and could access It...but a part of me is thinking the builder never utilized It or finished It... we will definitely figure It out, and if It is in deed a panic room, we may show It, but would never show everyone how to access It, for our safety of our family. I would revisit the house instruction manual or contact the realtor they might know something. While waiting, I would check every inch of that house. Starting with the theater. Look and see if there's a hidden door, and stairs leads to the secret room.

The room is eventually found by them watch. This is why you ask questions about the house before buying it. About the rooms, and guides about the house that talks about switches and systems. Where they are located and their functions.

Contact the Architect who designed the house. They can provide the Blueprints.
Showing full design of the property that was approved by the city or county. Panic buttons are usually set to give u acess to a Panic Room for security.

You could also contact the company that contracted the house being built. There is probably premier panic room builders in your area that was the one to install the room. It has special things that a regular contractor doesn’t normally do.

I recommend checking all closet shelves for a small button that will act as a trap door.

Fly a drone with a camera attachment to the outside windows and look inside from video recording. Everyone stays safe off of ladders.😊 Good luck guys!

My husband is an electrician, those random blank plates that you asked if it was a button, it’s just a blank plate from either an old outlet, or they needed to add more wires, but didn’t want a hole, so they cut it, did the work and covered it up. Or it’s an outlet that no longer needed to be used, so they took it out and put a blank cover

Access points to panic rooms tend not to be on the blueprints. Its for homeowner safety. Sometimes panic rooms aren't in blueprints at all despite being a legal addition. You can go to the zoning and permit committee and request an exemption. That's a big boujie house so it's well within the realm of possibilities.

The sounds are weird. I would assume you have installed inside cctv cameras already. Hopefully, it's just squirrels. People can be wild though so don't count that out. Better safe than sorry.

Push every book case, check anything left behind like desk or sit arounds, also where r the keys from the key box? I would look behind it. I would ask the man that told u abt the room what all he knows abt the home. Is the secret room a panic room? All those switches? Good luck hope u film it.

That's quite a discovery...very exciting! I loved the adventure of watching you guys look for the entrance, I was on the edge of my seat just hoping that you would find a potential secret room/panic room. Even with the panic button, imagine that if pushing it would lock it down...doors locking, cages coming down 🤔definitely a "smart house". Find the original blueprints and the builder for sure!
