Retired RN here, worked in cardiology for many years, plus, my husband and I both have A fib. You not only need a good cardiologist, you need an ELECTROPHYSIOLOGIST. The heart has two components, plumbing, and electrical. When you have a heart attack, that’s a problem with plumbing, when you have AFib, that’s a problem with your electricity. Cardiologists are plumbers, electrophysiologists are electricians. There’s a procedure called an ablation, that may cure you, it may not, but I had it and 3 years ago and haven’t gone into AFib since. The sooner you get the procedure done after you’re diagnosed the better it works. Wishing you the best! You’ll be fine! And know that you’re not alone!

Prayers!!
My husband found out he had afib a few years ago after a stress test and wearing a monitor for several days. It showed his heart was stopping for several seconds off and on during the day and night. (We had rescued a dog and noticed he was waking up my husband, a couple of times each night. )The doctor installed a pacemaker, and we are blessed that the pacemaker has taken care of the a fib. Our dog no longer wakes my husband up at nights so thankful that we adopted the dog.

My mom is big on, "let me see your face, " so I can know you're doing okay, and this was that relief for me. I know I've never met you guys or your family, but you're a part of my day, and when someone is down, it sucks, especially when its something serious. I am glad you've got a plan, and a path to go down, and wishing Jared nothing but health and healing. Thank you for sharing.

I dont want to scare you guys, but with the heart issues and new medications and changes of medications make sure they’re watching Jareds kidneys too. My grandma was diagnosed December 31st 2023 with congestive heart failure she was on blood thinners and all different medications. with the changes in medications and additions of new medications her kidneys took a bad hit. We lost her December 19th2024, due to sudden kidney failure. Our hospice doctor told us kidney and heart doctors do not work together. Please push for checks on his kidneys, they never told us her kidneys were bad she just stopped peeing. Prayers.

So glad Jared is doing better, and getting the right doctors on board.
When I got sick in 2016, my life was totally changed. I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, which affects my heart, and lungs the most, but can eventually cause problems with my kidneys too. I have an awesome Rheumatologist, who referred me to my cardiologist, and my Neurologist. They are the best in their fields. Having good doctors is key in getting everything else in control. You especially want doctors that communicate with each other about your health conditions. May God continue to Bless you and guide you through this journey! 🙏♥️

So glad they were able to detect right away. My mom‘s AFib was undetected for a long time she ended up suffering a stroke. We even missed the signs. She thought she was having vision problems and scheduled an eye doctor appointment. He then scheduled a brain MRI, but we couldn’t get in right away for the scan and then that’s when she ended up suffering a stroke over the summer. Thankfully she is doing much better and ER team treated stroke immediately. Take care of yourself. Great to hear you’re doing better. Love watching you guys!!

One thing I find amazing is Jared's strong positive outlook on this. I hope there are more answers than questions, also my support and thoughts are with Jared and the family.

Im 74 years old I have Afib and it's very very manageable. It's a simple adjustment to your life. Eat healthy, exercise regularly, maintain a no salt diet, no artificial foods, etc. They had to stop my heart to get it back in rhythm. After that it's an easy and manageable issue. ❤ Love watching your channel.

Be very careful even after they “say” you’re better. My mom had a fib and during a procedure had a nose bleed. Between the a fib and the nose bleed she had a stroke! She was in the hospital and I came in and said she’s had a stroke her mouth is crooked. The nurses came in and said yes she’s had a stroke, then that was a new battle. Jared YOU KNOW your body! DO NOT IGNORE ANY SIGNS or FEEL BAD moments! ❤ much love and feel better ASAP!

Kind of crazy! I was sick and went to urgent care and then on Christmas night I ended up in the ER with heart issues. I was there for 6 days. I'm still going through it trying to get everything figured out. I was the one who did everything for my family (my husband's name is Jared lol) and now they're babying me. I'm so grateful for them. I wish us both the best of luck!

I'm on Zepbound. I haven't experienced any side effects other than not being hungry all of the time.
I'm so happy to see Jared home and in the hands of your loving family. You have been, and will continue to be, in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you hugs Shelly.

I’m so happy to see Jared back! The AFib diagnosis is definitely scary, but I know you’ll navigate this new chapter with strength and grace. Making different life choices can be challenging, but with your amazing family by your side, you’ll have all the love and care you need to thrive.

As for your YouTube followers, please know we are here for you too. We’ll continue to support you with our prayers and words of encouragement. Your family is such a special part of my daily routine, and I feel so close to all of you that it’s like being part of your extended family. If there’s ever a day without a new video, I can’t help but worry and hope everything is okay.

Sending all my love to you and your family—cheers to better health and a bright future ahead!

Warm regards, Guylene. from Vancouver, Canada
