Just wanted to say the black foam that was under the stock skates was also supposed to come off (should see the screw holes underneath) if not it could have some tracking issues. But enjoy the new mouse!

don't worry about how overly smooth the superglides are, they have a break-in period and wear down slightly over time. I have a G Pro Wireless with superglides and after some time they're perfectly smooth without being uncontrollable, and the experience is really consistent compared to a fresh pair.

Could've just gotten an artisan hien mousepad because it has a surface that lets you move your mouse quickly and accurately. It is also durable and comes in different sizes. The bottom of the pad prevents it from slipping.

you are supposed to remove the other layer you left on the glides it will affect the sensor and you were supposed to remove it until you see screws and remove all glue with alcohol wipes

You did no research and bought old and overpriced mouse. They are lot more new mouse that are far better and cheaper than this. Also the mousepad is really bad for its price. Bad decision my friend.

Get an artisan zero since its a very good control pad, a lot of pros use and it will balance out the superglides as well. It has very good stopping power
