Great show, as ever, Joe. Kai was stoked to see you feature his boat, and thanks for the nod to Bob Cooper. Along with long serving volunteers and instructors Peter Kinsman, Jean Cooper, Peter Lyons, John (Bill) Dunne and others a warm and welcoming community of sailing fanatics and other ocean lovers has grown at as good a club as anyone could hope to be a member of, down here in Rye. Thanks for giving it some exposure on your top class channel. Cheers.

Rainy cold weather here in Alabama. It should warm up by late April/early May here and then let the sailing begin!!! Good to see Show Us Your Cat still going strong, my boat is in episode #2 and is the thumbnail for the video, still so cool to go back and watch that video. Lots of great boats out there!!! Good one Joe!!!

Wahooo!! Love me some SUYC! I was just going through some of my gear today in anticipation of sunny, windy summer days. Gotta melt some of this snow over a meter deep first! Thanks Joe

It is really good to see Zaak and Alan getting out on the water. They might not have the best boat but look like they do enjoy themselves.

Excellent. Looking forward to getting my Hobie getaway by the end of this year. Will be looking for the reverse bow model. Learn to sail a small cat on that.(have sailed a 38ft cat in Whitsundays on charter a few times) Then maybe some mods. Like building a carbon 2.5-1 wing mast, which I already have plans for. Dyneema stays and trap shrouds x 2.New sails to match new mast. Removable rear deck with outboard for camp cruising(450kg of people and camp gear!). Good to see the Getaway can probably hit 20kn with better engine than stock. Might even try making some carbon rudders, and a swinging centreboard under front beam for higher pointing . I like experiments, especially those which can be removed! Thanks Joe.
