This video is a simple explanation how to make the fastest and most consistent cut times, when making comparisons of different saw models, chains and before and after porting a chainsaw. Rocking the saw, or dogging the saw in, only inhibits the saws true potential.

I'm guilty of this as well, I get so used to digging in with the dogs and rocking through the wood after cutting for hours. I hope to see you making more videos like this!

Very good point I was always told let the saw do the work.
when I see guys using the felling dog’s bucking logs
on the ground it’s usually they have a chain starting
go dull I’m guilty of it myself
Felling dogs are necessary when cutting a tree down not so much when bucking a logs on the ground.

I like using the dogs and I don't recall rocking the saw much in my cuts
