For nearly a week at this point I have been stuck on this dead server with no end in site, no communication or help from CIG on this issue. I am not alone in this, there are thousands with this issue currently.

I am also stuck. Have tried playing in arena commander in different regions, tried two character repairs, tried to reset the launcher and change the region in my profile, nothing has helped.

Just FYI I uploaded this video as something to attach to my support ticket, because I was trying to get across the severity of the issue to them. I do appreciate everyone's support. I also understand this is an alpha - I have been a backer since 2016 when all we had was cryastro lol. It's just crazy to me that they had no one watching the servers over the holiday period at the very least, and no one could even acknowledge it was even an issue during that time and say "we hear you and we will get you back in asap" - they are an entertainment service after all. I work for one - we would never leave our customers stranded like that. Yes this is still in development, but my dudes it's been 12 years already, and I have played this more than any other game I own - Star Citizen is kind of a unique project in that way - it's basically a live product (in that we can play it) while it's simultaneously being developed - and while that may sound blatantly obvious, what it means is CIG can't treat it like one that is not actively being played. They know damn well we give them money for ships because we play with those ships. So I don't think it's too much to ask that they have some kind of skeleton crew monitoring the servers at least, over the holiday period. Just my two cents on the issue. Because look what happened - they fixed it the very first day they came back, so it was an easy fix. Literally the ONLY reason we were all locked out for so long was because no one was there to help us. Anyway, we are back in now. All I lost was some PI stuff and had to claim a ship to let it spawn again, but other than that I am good to go! See you in the verse!

I've had this error a few times now.. i went into Arena Commander and loading into a match on a different region. Then logged out for hours and i was able to get back on a different region.

It's still happening even after they got back in office from the holidays. It happens pretty much every day on my end.

I had the same issue but I fixed it by changing region in arena commander, entering a match, staying for a few minutes, then PU worked

Had this issue as well. I fixed this issue by playing other games 😂! Currently started playing Elite Dangerous again after years and have not been disappointed. Feels great playing a game that isn't bugged and works as intended. 4.0 is 3.18 all over again and for those praising the devs....grow a fucking pair and know that this isn't ok. Imagine if your water stopped running at your house, but it's OK. The water employee will fix it when he gets back from break. It's a job and they get paid to deliver what we pay them to deliver. I've spent enough money on this project (wing commander) so give me what I've paid you to do.

I have been stuck on the 4.0 hotfix server for over 2 weeks and ticket ignored... Not cool.. They will not refund my money because i am beyond the 30 day statutory period.. just abandoned.. ignored.. auto responses.. error 30009..

We are the unlucky ones amongst thousands of players that have this issue. Happened to me yesterday and I’ve tried everything! Looks like we stuck until about the 15of Jan maybe longer, until they come back.

Had the same problem. For me the character repair did work though

It doesn't wipe your inventory or progress any more which was a nice surprise

issue resolved. working as intended.

Just wait for, 4.0 tech, 4.0 trailer, 4.0 glimpse, 4.0 sampler platter, or what ever build channel name CIG comes up with next. BUT it's not live so they have an excuse.

Don’t worry, once you get in you still can’t do anything. Servers keep resetting, elevators broken, hangars broken, it’s a complete meltdown. But playable now of course.

Yeah same issue here... Let's dont blame the devs (which are overworked), blame CIG for the poor organization and lack of communication. You would expect from a company that size, to have 2-3 people at standby for issues.
