I mean, if you can get a 13 Pro with the same processor, better display and cameras for around the same price, why would people buy the 14 Plus over the 13 Pro unless people really want a big phone in that specific price point?

Apple tried to cut corners this year and it's not paying off. No one is going to pay more for the same exact phone! You could get a 13 pro for the same price as the 14 and will have a better phone to boot!

As for Google. It's a nice upgrade from the 6 which I skipped on and I'm a big Google fan. The 7 is what the 6 should've been like from the get go. There are more changes in the Pro line vs the regular though. I'm keeping my S22U and pre-ordered the 7 Pro yesterday with Pixel Pass which is a no brainer if you're already paying for YT premium. With all the discounts I'm getting my 512GB model will only cost me $490 after 2 years. I'm not sure what else Google could do next year but I'm not planning to upgrade so every 2 is perfectly fine with me. It's a lot better then the 3 years that most carriers are pushing you to now. Your phone will be locked the whole time as well.

The little time I had with the 7pro it honestly felt like they refined a lot of the camera. It honestly felt like I was back in the day when I unboxed my pixel 2 and was amazed at how great the camera was on it.
Definitely grabbing a pixel 7. My issue now is choosing between the pro or non pro variant

The Pixel Watch is 41mm not 44. I always had high hopes for it and so far I’m not disappointed. Can’t wait until I receive it later this week.

I thought i would be buying my first iPhone this year, but the strong dollar means they're horribly expensive where i live. Eventhough i'm pretty tired of looking at Android, have been running Android in something like 13 or 14 years after all, i'm sligntly interested in what Google is doing this year..for the first time in a long time. Am looking forward to the reviews, and what you're saying doesn't make me less interested :)

The CPU is not the same, other than the process node, the mid cores have been bumped up from the A76 to A78. Please do better research

Exciting updates of the phones, watches, and the Tensor G2. Looking forward to the Pixel Tablet. I am debating the phones, either go now or wait until next year's Pixel 8 series and the third Tensor Chip. The world economy is very difficult, right now, sales of all items are taking a hit.
