That is one person I would love to spend a weekend with. I know a lot of people dream to live his lifestyle. Loved the shelters. I was just looking at the seekoutside silvertip this week. I have a snowshoe trip planned and would love to have it but it's just outside my budget at the moment

I was loving that native flute in the intro & outro of this video. Great sound. I have 3 native flutes myself although I dont play, they are sentimental to me since they were native created. The tee pee system is so very cool. I am originally from Montana where 7 Indian reservations are located. I have see many tee pees in my life and each one has its own personality when it comes to decor and painted canvas and hides. The natives really thought this design out well and used it for generations. I really enjoyed this informative tee Pee video. Thanks for sharing. I just subscribed to your channel. Please feel free to subscribe to my channel. I would appreciate the support in return. Thanks again for sharing.

Thanks for great video! Was wondering about Matt's pit house with the open roof: what is the deal with rain coming in? (and insects and small animals?) Did Matt have a covering for the roof when he was living there?

I really enjoy dual survival when Matt graham was on there. after he left it wasn't the same. he really seem like a good person and really in tune with mother nature. we could all learn a lot from him and really be at peace with our surroundings. really enjoy the video awesome.

Yep. Sub material right here. A DRONE? Some great shots too. Music's a little too loud and over powering the commentary if I was gonna nitpick but only took 20 seconds to see this channel is worth anyones time.

"...this is not about politics..." First of all, Matt has spent a lot of his life surrounded (and accepted) by a deeply republican population in that part of the country. For the first time, I suddenly wonder where he stands politically. One would think he's liberal (hippy-dippy in the best way), but maybe not. If not, I don't want to know - I want to keep my pristine view of Matt as having the perfect humanistic perspective of life as reflected in how he hunts, survives, treats people and his environment.

Be progressive, Matt! If you are woohoo! If not, I don't want to know!

People originally built round houses or domes house for many reasons. 1- it required less resources, less time, less materials and less waste in round houses. 2- the heat and cold is distributed equally around a round house. With that, it required less wood and resources to heat the house or cool the house which also meant you had to use less calories collecting woods and so on. 3- a round shaped house is and still today more sustainable than squared or rectangular houses meaning that you required less time repairing it. 4- round houses are stronger and more resistant to wind, hurricanes and tornadoes than other shaped houses. 5- back to point 1, it took less time putting down and up a round house and materials could have been easily replaced or carried like in Siberia and so on.

I hope you have more videos with Matt. It's cool how much time he's spent actually living out in his primitive hut.

Can not really go wrong with a traditional shelter. Couldnt care less about the tv bs but I dont actually mind Matt as far as this type of people go.

Matt seems like a balanced bushguy... I think the Navajo word for it is hozro. I'll have to check out his channel!

So matt graham built a long term shelter on federal land in a national forest, then lived there for free?
