Sadly my dad is one of these types. He said Nancy Pelosi should be tried for treason when she ripped Trumps speech, but saw nothing wrong with what happened on Jan 6. SMH. Thank goodness I am able to be outside of the US most of the year.

I saw a British documentary at home in the UK at least 40 years ago where a reporter was travelling around rural parts of the USA talking to people. One person I particularly remember was a white guy in the south of the country who told the BBC reporter that slavery never happened. He said the black people made it all up so white people would feel sorry for them. This was a level of ignorance you can't really argue against. Well, I thought, at least there can't be many like him. But there are, lots of them and they now have cult figure to adulate.
