Great shave session Chris! I am with you as far as supporting artisans who are reasonable with their price increases. There are too many artisans to choose their items and I will only buy from those that fit my budget. Very nice shave this morning Chris. The leaf in berry blue is an attractive razor. Denton Majik and Mark have the right philosophy in my mind.I agree I’m not for gouging, I understand price increases for legitimate reasons. I for one am looking forward to Wackville. Hopefully those residents of this new town will take note.

Glad you are talking about pricing. Most of us have 50 100 soaps etc we dont need to buy them we just like adding more scents to our arsenal. We dont have to buy we want to buy. If the prices are out of control then we wont buy.

Hi Chris,
I plan to buy the Leaf for my head shaves as soon as my Harry's razors are down to almost zero.
My complaint with Harry's is that the blades clog easy due to how close they sit in the blade.
Does the leaf have similar issues?

I, and I’m sure I mean WE, appreciate you speaking out about unacceptable rising prices in the artisan end. I understand the rising costs to do business, and the need for profit, but when I feel the increases are being added in the belief that they won’t be noticed…then that pisses me off. I just won’t do business with them in the future, or I’ll just look for a used product from the artisan. Transparency matters.

I really like the blue color. That's probably the color I would choose for it (with my luck it will sell out). I find it odd that they don't have them in green... And they call it the leaf.

Today's shave: Leaf Thorn, A&E Asian Plumb, HC&C Citrus Bomb scent (great combo), and M&M Cladagh splash.

The prices are going up on everything, unfortunately. I don't think artisans are raising prices arbitrarily, but as a result of their increased costs. It's ironic how this wasn't a problem at the height of the pandemic, but only after everything is going back to normal. Seems like there would be someone in power who would be to blame for all this....

Hell yeah I like the wackville. Fine go can right in there! I like their product but I won’t be buying anything from them after a 25% increase.

What is off putting for me is when a new artisan wants $5 and up an oz. without having earned the respect of the community. Be around for years like Stirling, PAA, Cattie's Bubbles, Soap Commander and B&M then we will talk.

A while back I bought a tub of the Unscented Game Changer base, and shortly afterwards I got an email from Mark saying that he was adjusting the price on his soaps and that I could either have a five dollar refund or put it towards shop credit on my next purchase. I thought that was really cool of him to do, so I just told him to keep it. I can't wait until he has a full line of splashes to go with all of his different scents.
