Ok so to add to this if that doesn’t work go into your BIOS and look for ErP and set it to enabled in power management or usb settings but it will only turn the usbs off of the computer is shut down not if you put it to sleep

Mine was enabled by default but still usb are on and fans and rgb are on after shutdown

What happens if its automatically on enabled but my usb ports are still on.

dang, this was already enabled before I came to this video. this did not fix my problem.

Tried this, didnt work. Tried going to device manager and checking "allow windows to turn off" for every USB root hub, didnt work. My BIOS only gives me the option to completely disable each port. 😢

P.S. under the "Power" tab in devman each hub is independently powered, which for my old MB I'm thinking means there's no way. My newer MEG ACE let's me do all this and more within the BIOS, so for anyone else still looking for answers after this, it may be time to upgrade!

Unfortunately, this didn't work for me. I have 2 settings under USB and they're both on enabled mode, but when I shut off my laptop, the USB hub where I connected my peripherals is still on; it won't go off.

What if I want the opposite on windows 11. I need power to my usb so stuff and charge and the way I have my setup wired
