How to Build a Classic Hunting Atlatl

I build an Atlatl based on Wyatt Knapps New Atlatl and Dart Work Book. This Oak board cut Atlatl with a Micarta spur will stand years of use.

Honestly, if I were lost or shipwrecked on an island, I would make an atlatl for finding food because it is easy to make like a bow and not everyone knows how to make a bow and the atlatl is also good for fishing like a harpoon, so this is good for self-defense and survival👍
