Convert your AeroPress into a cold brew coffee maker with the PUCKPUCK Cold Brew Adapter for Aeropress. This innovative accessory features an easily adjustable drip valve, is pocket-sized for simple storage and travel, and allows you to use any standard water bottle as the water vessel.

Don’t waste a fortune on an expensive cold brew coffee drip tower—leave those for the fancy cafes. The PuckPuck adapter sits on top of your AeroPress and allows water to drip slowly over grounds just like those bigger brewers. Except, it’s much simpler for home use.

PuckPuck Brewing Instructions:

Grind 50g of coffee at a medium setting and place in the AeroPress, paper filter down.
Add the PuckPuck splash filter over the coffee grounds, then attach the adapter.
Add 500ml of water and ice into a water vessel and screw onto the adapter.
Set the valve to 30-50 drips per minute.
Allow the full water amount to drain through to a server below.
Dilute to taste and enjoy.
The patent-pending water valve gives you full control over the drip rate of your water, enabling you to ‘dial in’ your recipe. The splash filter sits on your coffee grounds to ensure every drop of water is evenly distributed over the coffee.

And thanks to the standard bottle threads, you can use most regular water bottles as your water chamber. Just cut the bottom off so you can add ice and water. PuckPuck also sells their own 500ml vessel as a set with the adapter.

The compact “pocketable” design means you can easily take this accessory with you on your travels without having to dedicate much room to it.

Compatible with the following bottles:
Volvic
Evian

Years ago, I saw someone doing this, but using the included funnel filled with ice. I tried it once, and it worked well enough. I didn't realize someone had made an attachment to streamline the technique. Very cool.

Are you still happy with the magic 5's?
50g of medium grind coffee
500ml of water
50 drips/minute

Can you make a larger portion? Say 1 liter instead of the 500ml in this? Obviously, you double the amount—but will the narrow chamber have an adverse impact on the quality? Anyone try this or have thoughts?

Does it generally produce the same sweetness compared to the traditional way of making cold brew (steep time of 18-20 hours)?

Does the generic Puck puck fit th aeropress go or do you need a different model? I thought the aeropress go was a narrower chamber?

Can you use hot water just like the machine for a regular drip coffee?

Any idea if getting it started before bed and leaving it until next morning would have any negative effect on the coffee?

to say that any mineral water bottle will suit The adapter is very misleading and should be corrected on your website

I don't feel like it's very clear how many servings you're making. I think it is important to know how many servings each brew makes because cold brew can generally have a lot of caffeine.

I just finished my first brew except that I followed the directions which said to use 38 g of coffee and 500 ml of water, but I do not know how many servings I have just made. For comparison, I usually use the #2 amount of standard aeropressed coffee for a serving.
