Ironically, the points she brings up in the beginning are the arguments I would give for why children should be given a realistic view of the world. Children have unlimited imagination and no concept of censorship.

When I was growing up the thought of going to hell scared me so much that I actually developed severe anxiety at age 10 and it was so bad I couldn’t leave my house because I was terrified of sinning… AT AGE 10. Talk about confusing

My parents werent that religious and all they told
me was good people go to heaven while bad people go to hell to burn. like i lived in fear as a child bc anytime i made a mistake i literally thought i would go to hell for it. And then you have literal christians commiting murder but “dw! You can pray for ur sins to go away if you go to church!” like 😭😭

I learned something raising six kids. Don’t lie to them. If they are to young for a concept say when you get a little older I promise to answer then do it. I kept a box with the questions written down. Also STOP TREATING kids like they don’t understand they do. They are watching you always. The only thing the lack and time and experience. Treat them like a person. Any other person. You watch them bloom in to adults ready for the world.
