We stopped teaching the Bible in schools in 1963. How did this effect the next generation of children that came to influence the late 60s and onwards

Come on Thabiti any "Christian" Movement without the Gospel of Christ isn't a Christian movement. Good comments though, & we can't forget that in-spite of the face of the civil rights movement which did not know Christ, there were Christians out of the spotlight who did indeed promote Christian ethics in light of the Gospel.
