it's always good to remember how good we have it, sometimes. but it still hurts when the ones we love are struggling. hang in there and stay strong for your friend and her kiddo. :) again, all good thoughts to you and yours, Melanie.


i love the dipbrow pomade, even if it did take a bit of practice. i use the teeny tiny makeup forever eyebrow brush # 270 or the mac 263 w/ it. it really helps to use a tiny brush w/ this product. i love love love it. :)

We've been using Andalou Natural's cool mint shower gel & body lotion. My husband really likes the shower gel. I've bought him a few different ones & he asked me to go back to the AN's one. Since you aren't a peppermint fan, you probably wouldn't like it though.

I have a Deep Steep grapefruit & bergamot body butter that I use on my hands at bedtime & I really love it! It smells like fruit loops to me - which makes me smile. I was going to try their body lotion, but there were some ingredients in them that I try to avoid, so I haven't. I did get a hand soap & liked it. 💕

I am so very sorry that your friends' family is going through this. It's so hard when someone gets really sick, but even more heartbreaking when it's a child! Take care!

I LOVE the color bomb in "Never Enough Nude." Also, last year on Black Friday, Sephora had that Alterna kit for $10, and I fell in love! I cashed in my points on that set, too, because I can't spend that much on shampoo and conditioner either. I'm hoping they have a similar set this year.

I work at a Jewish school and one of my students is going to Isreal next week. He and his family will be visiting the Western Wall. You can write wishes/hopes/prayers on a piece of paper and place in the wall. Everyone in the class wrote a wish and he will be bringing it to the wall. I wrote "I hope G-d heals all those who need good health and love." I hope he answers all the prayers being said for this little girl. Take care <333

My thoughts are with your friends families! Makes us realize how truly blessed we are to have healthy children! I'm going to give those Caviar products a go. I think they sell them at my local beauty supply (my sister gets a licensed stylist discount yay!). I can't use that powder! I feel like it just builds up so much in my hair after 1 day! On a completely separate note, have you thought about asking your hairdresser to pick up those Alterna products for you using her pro discount? Since she was willing to pick up the Pravana toner for you, I would think that she would pick up the Alterna products for you as well. With her discount, they should be about 40% less than the prices at Sephora.
