With the introduction of the new Diva/Claro lines of traditional looking smart switches, Lutron also introduced an Accessory Switch for a new way to install 3-way or more multiple-way switch setup. Let’s check out the new Claro Accessory Switch, DVRF-AS, today.

Love how we now have smart switches in the classic Lutron toggle-switch Diva/Claro design. With the addition of the Smart Claro Accessory Switch, the collection is now complete!

Thank you for this video. It explained a lot of information that wasn't clear in other videos. Two thumbs up!

I have the most of my house wired with the older style lutron casetas. My wife saw the new Lutron Claros and the Divas and asked if I can replce the old switches with the new Claros and Divas since the new ones look much nicer. I feel like she may freak out when I tell her the price tag of replacing out all the switches. (For the context, our master bedroom was the last room that I put in the smart switches into, and I used a couple of Claros and a Diva.)

Could you please let me know if I can simply use the accessory switches in single pole or 3 way configs? I really like the toggle action (not rocker action) of the switch. And want exactly this switch everywhere. Would that be possible? Thanks in advance

Very helpful video but the model number is incorrect. The model number for the accessory switch is DVRF-AS.

Followed this wiring setup exactly, but the accessory switch doesn’t work. Blue wires are both on red…scratching my head!
