Hello agents! Welcome back to another Tom Clancy's The Division 2 video. In today's video, we will be talking about some of the fastest ways to level up your expertise. This will be a brief expertise guide for The Division 2.

Compared to striker's battlegear, this build won't hit nearly as hard, but it does have a decent amount of weapon damage and as you've seen from the gameplay footage at the beginning, the survivability with this build is through the roof. Like, there are some instances where NPCs will struggle just to destroy your ballistic shield, which is crazy. And since the damage isn't bad at all, It just makes this the perfect solo PVE build for any open world activity, as well as legendary missions. So this build is basically like the jack of all trades. It has great damage, a crap ton of armor re-gen, and survivability.

So if we have a closer look, you can see that for 3 pieces, you get 10% total armor, 1% armor re-gen, and 50% shield health. Which are all great attributes for a tank. So It's the perfect gearset for tank builds and the way I have mine set up, adds a decent amount of damage to the build. For one, having the catharsis mask not only adds more survivability, but it also helps boost weapon damage. You see, catharsis comes with the talent vicious cycle. And so by taking damage, you will build stacks of up to 30. Each stack will grant you 1% weapon damage. So at full stacks, you will basically have 30% weapon damage.

But just real quick, for the attributes on the gear pieces, I have critical hit chance rolled for the most part, and critical hit damage. but you wanna make sure to roll either critical hit chance or damage for your attributes because it will help with damage big time. So I'm gonna show you guys the stats in a second, but again you can roll either critical hit chance or damage to get similar stats to mine. For the stats, 50% critical hit chance, and one hundred and twenty-three percent critical hit damage. And For the secondary weapon and sidearm, the choice is yours.

Okay so now, what you can also do if you would like to add more survivability, is swap the backpack for an alps summit bag with the talent safeguard. Safeguard will basically increase total skill repair by 100% while at full armor. I like to swap to this backpack when I'm running legendary missions for an extra amount of survivability. And by having the alps summit bag not only will I get 20% repair skills, which is great for your shield health, but i'll also be getting an additional 7.5% weapon damage since i have skill tier rolled on it. However, this isn't really a requirement.

It's the Foundry talent that's healing your shield not safeguard. Safeguard only helps the artificer and that's when it shoots its drone. Hope this helped.

So first I want to compliment you on a very detailed explanation of your build which a lot of other creators do not do in terms of explaining why they choose some of the things they choose

A foundry tank build with catharsis and one piece of red wherever in the build is fairly meta for legendary content especially on tidal basin and zoo

For example I either run pretty much the exact same setup you have with a vigilance backpack. I don't remember if it's Fenris or not though

Or I'll put on the foundry backpack and slip on a red chest for either damage or support. For example I might put on gila guard with point man depending on what the group needs

But I like the way you put out your content keep the content coming

When your shield health "resets", that's the Artificer Hive healing it. You can see the buff running out at 7:05 and activating at 7:07.
Edit: I don't know for sure if Safeguard affects Artificer, but since it increases skill repair and Artificer has a skill repair stat, it probably does. So it doesn't heal your shield directly, just increases the heal it gets from Artificer.

Just made this build, mine is a little different. The backpack is weapon damage. With the skill teir from electronics. You are still at shield tier 6. At watch level 240. Im doing heroic. It is a good grinding build. Thank you

Great build! Didn't have a good Vigilance substitute so I opted for some extra survivability by using a CHC/CHD Matador rolled to blue core. Works like a charm in Legendary Summit.

Running similar, but with Firewall for the Striker shield health, Shocker Punch for melee and Deathgrips for armor regen. So started using this for completing the melee challenge during Global Events and kept using it because they can't kill me. Also loaded up with Protection from Elites.
