If I remember correctly I spawned the neuron in so technically this isn’t what happens when you give FP one of moons neurons

When moons structure collapsed, most of the rooms remained intact, but Pebbles was completely split into pieces and is almost unrecognisable from what it once was. So it's safe to say that he's beyond help from neurons

It was actually so heartbreaking to see pebbles in this debilitated helpless state. Like even in this video, he is just so done for, cannot respond to anything, just keeps playing his broken music perpetually...

The "go find home" would make sense as dialogue adressed to the neuron, but I guess thats just a regular response from visiting him again

Unlike moon, pebbles is somehow able to live even without the neurons, yet just not able to make a proper use of them in his state

god its heartbreaking to hear Pebbles' sad boi music all broken and distorted. It makes it even sadder somehow since you're trying to give him a neuron and he's just... not taking it.

but you c a n t make it format

A lot of pebbles structure was torn apart before it fell causing irreversible damage
While moons structure was fully in tact and fell into deep water
It was also damaged but not as badly as pebbles because we have no idea how much more time passed before his structure fell but it was already barely working when it fell meaning he can do a lot less but is still hooked up to his umbilical cords meaning he is still aware of what is going on while not being able to remember much
