As someone that swings fairly flat I've had more success with the Extreme Pro than I did with my Pure Aero because if I wasn't swinging with heavy top spin the Pure Aero just felt cumbersome. The Extreme just allows you to decide which way you want to swing and it is versatile enough to accommodate your style. Also I preferred the lighter head of the Extreme at net when getting around volleys

And from what you say about the Aero 98 I can imagine one more kind of player who can benefit from it.

Whenever somebody starts to develop a really good technique - be it a junior or somebody at 40 - the Aero can guide them to the next level. Yes, it's demanding to always hit the center and Yes, it wants you to swing up properly, that's exactly what their coach always wants them to do.

I prefer the Extreme Pro in terms of feel and easier maneuverability.
Also i like the paint job more.
Using Lynx Tour at 47 and felt good after 2 hours of playing time.
This new Extreme is similar in feel to the 2020 Graphene and that i like. I did not like the feel of the 2022 Extreme Tour. But i do like the feel of the Extreme Pro. I can place the balls real well and with good spin.

String spacing is probably the more important metrics for spin racquets - at least for the middle 6 strings (mains and cross)

luca for the pure drive 98 did u use a leather grip if so what grip did u use and rpm rough strings 17g what tension? Did u use a dampener if so which one? Thx I liked already subbed

Nice comparison! Could you do a review of the new extreme pro with the older tour (360+ and auxetic 1.0)? I was thinking to change for the new one, but form what I saw people saying, the new one is more flexible and with less feel than the 360+ one

Based on a manageable sw, I play better with bits of mass accumulated somewhere at the upper hoop, but I just don't like the aero-dynamic throat cuz it kind of commends me to swing fast and upward. It somewhat stop me from mixing everything up(unnecessarily😬), but that's not really what I want
Plus, I do find myself preferring soft/muted frames and appreciating long dwelling time
I passed Pure Aero 98, and settled with VCore 98

extreme pro seems like an underated racket. some great characteristics but doesnt have as big of a name marketing it so it doesnt get the coverage.
