Great review. I never knew what all the fuss was about. Our guest from other countries request these cars to take them to our tours. On the outside... just another van. Now I get it. This is why our Russian guests in particular request this car by name to take them to and from or tours. Got it.

"Menacing" is the perfect word to describe the front end. I'm a Canadian visiting Japan and I keep seeing these on the road, the styling of the grille is just crazy, it's so aggressive looking. It's strange seeing that on a van as a Canadian, because to us normally, an MPV can never be a cool car. There's nothing in the North American market that looks anything like this.

Front passenger seat below leg rest can be bring it up but I'm not sure whether does this latest alphard have or not. This whole video clips still never shows all things that this beast have it.

I don't think it is correct to say that the Serena is Alphard's direct competitor. Because Nissan has the Elgrand which is definitely more luxurious.

I have lived in the US and Canada for awhile and I find that the Japanese cars there have better interior specs than the ones in Asia (same models). I was kinda shock when I see the price of cars here and it comes with only the bare minimum 😅

17 inch wheels looks cheap and small for the Alphard. Not to mention the infotainment system...
