I love their controllers. This pad is probably the best 3rd party controller I've ever used for under the normal MSRP price. Razer used to have a great budget controller for 360/PC but this one edges it out with all the remapping features. I just grabbed the 8bitdo ultimate controller and have been digging that one a bit more due to its larger size(which I find a bit more comfortable). It does however come at a slight cost increase

The only controller that came close to my 8BITDO was the DualShock 4 v2. I don't use the back buttons so functionally they are quite comparable to me.

I do use 8bitdo most of the time nowadays though.

I have this controller too and I love it, It's currently my main controller right now. I've used 8bitdo controllers for years and I can say that it's a pretty good brand I have a lot of their controllers and they are pretty good for the price

Ok, I am halfway through this video. I 've been using Logitech rumblepads for more than 10 years now. The only problem is that the rubber pads behind the buttons get worn by time and I had to buy the cheaper wired versions in order to get the pad replaced.

Now you are telling me that not only this controller has more buttons, but they sell the replacement parts for it. I am sold!

I got big hands so the Sony back button attachment is awesome for me. Although, with the 8BitDo Pro 2 you can Macro and it's easy setup through the app

I just bought mine. I got the darker gray one with the symbols on the buttons. It's a solid controller. Just make sure you update it first thing. No telling how long it's sat in the warehouse and folks been having stick drift issues but updates fix that.

about time someone made a controller with focus on the D Pad literally hardly any on the market that focus on this aspect and layout. Have you tried the macros for long sequence presses with 1 button? can this work on xbox series s/x ?

Very informative review! 8bitdo recently released the Hall effects version so I’m stuck between this and the ultimate controller.

I really like the charging dock with the ultimate controller and the overall layout. But no replaceable battery. It does have a 2.4g connection though.

Pro 2 looks great aesthetically and comes with a replaceable battery. But I’m worried about how flat it looks and only Bluetooth connection. Does it feel more comfortable then it looks? How does the input lag feel?

Edit: They’ll see heavy usage for switch and PC. Ultimate Bluetooth can wake up the switch, can the Pro 2?

I pick one up for 26 euro, i have had a V1 very old DS4 that came with the 1st playstation 4 version so it will be very nice for me, also great for PC since it natively recognized as Xbox so I don't have to fiddle with DS4 and big picture mode remappings
